Yuzu is one of the rarest citrus fruits grown in the U.S. — a fragrant, knobby little treasure traditionally used in Japanese and Korean cooking, now carefully grown along the cool, coastal microclimates of Santa Barbara County. This organic hybrid citrus (a natural cross between sour mandarin + wild citrus) packs an unreal aroma: bright lemon, floral grapefruit, and a deep, herbal complexity you cannot fake.

These fruits are harvested fresh from a small California orchard and ship the same week. Use the zest and juice for dressings, marinades, broth seasonings, cocktails, desserts, ponzu, yuzu kosho, baking, syrups, or literally anything you want to taste instantly elevated. A little goes a long way — the fragrance alone is wild. We have both yellow and green available, with yellow being what we typically harvest.
